Recharging
🕰️ I need a minute.
After five and a half years of (mostly) biweekly templates, frameworks, how-to guides, and the occasional provocation that have defined this newsletter I need to recharge.
I still have things to say about our profession. Big picture things. Essays about where we’re headed as an industry, what our work means, whether any of this matters in the grand scheme.
But the biweekly dispatch has worn me down.
I’d rather pursue the kind of writing that doesn’t fit neatly into a “here’s your five-step framework” box.
So here’s what’s happening:
I’m stopping all monthly recurring charges. If you’re a paid subscriber, you won’t be billed again. If you paid for a yearly subscription, I’m working out how to handle prorated refunds—bear with me while I figure out the mechanics.
Everything new I write will be free for everyone.
I’ll publish when inspiration strikes, which might be a few times a quarter—or there might be radio silence for a while.
The material likely won’t be tactical playbooks.
They’ll be reflections on bigger questions about what we’re doing in this profession and where it’s all going.
If that sounds interesting, stick around.
If you were here for the templates and frameworks, I completely understand if you want to move on. No hard feelings either way.
Big ideas to come…
See you soon-ish,
-Shaun

I will be in touch. Happy recharging
I've learned so much from this - hope the inspiration strikes often! :)
