Almost half of U.K. business decision makers (42%) say they find it difficult to accurately measure the value internal comms brings to their organization, according to a new report from ITPR. The survey focuses on medium-sized businesses (100+ employees).
18% of U.K. mid-size businesses have a standalone IC team.
18% of execs say IC does not impact the bottom line.

Is Technology the Issue?
41% of IC pros in the U.K. say the technology they use is not fit for purpose, according to research just published by simplycommunicate. The organizationâs first-ever âworkspace reportâ looks at what IC pros (87% in the U.K.) expect from digital technology in helping them do their job.
55% say theyâll adopt new tech through 2023. (But will that really solve the problem?)
Those who use a third-party vendor beyond the Microsoft suite say the technology they use works well for communicating with employees. (So is Microsoft the problem?)Â

63% say increasing âengagementâ is a top issue.

20% of comms pros working in an organization of between 251-5,000 people feel senior leaders arenât listening very much, compared to 10% for those working in orgs with 5,001+ employees.
69% say that since the pandemic they are more trusted by senior leaders.
